Custom 14m sailing catamaran designed for experienced cruising family. Launched November 2005, rigged and commissioned October 2006. Cruised the Tasman (3 crossings) & New Zealand since. Composite Aerex Foam/Vinylester/GRP construction with multiple watertight bulkheads and compartments. Nine berths in 4 separate cabins (2 semi-island queen berths, 1 double, 1 large single, + extra double used for storage). Daggerboards & kick-up rudders. Retracting drive legs (rotate out of the water, propellers stow up under cockpit seats - no drag, no corrosion, no antifouling required, propellers visible and accessible from inside the cockpit for removal of weed, cray-pot lines etc). Twin Nanni 37.5HP diesels mounted athwartships in the cockpit, well forward to reduce pitching & very accessible in any weather for servicing. Chined hulls provide spacious interior with increased reserve buoyancy & reduced spray on deck. Sail handling from enclosable cockpit with integral bins for rope tails. Self-tacking jib with electric furler. Removable, washable carpets in sleeping cabins.
